Because Middle school bridges the gap between childhood and young adulthood, it presents young people with unique challenges and opportunities.
Kiwanians believe that young people need and want new and exciting challenges. We also believe that positive efforts and involvement by adults can channel a childs energy to help in their personal development of a happy and productive life. Builders Club helps to build strong leaders for tomorrow...today.
Key Clubs Key Clubs are designed to teach high school kids about the value of community service and to focus them on the positives surrounding them. Many Key Clubbers go on to leadership positions in the Key Club organization and assume leadership positions in other organizations and communities later in life. The Kiwanis Club of Oak Bay currently sponsors one Key Club at Oak Bay High School.
